Thanks for having me Exposed Urban!

I wanted to give a special thanks to Mark DeJoie and Corey Jackson at Exposed Urban for having me as a guest on their blog. Exposed Urban is a really fun website/blog about urban lifestyle and living, be sure to check them out!

Here is the interview I did talking about some trends in interior design. I was really nervous but thankfully Corey was really sweet and easy to chat with, thank God - I needed someone to calm my nerves! I'm pretty sure I had a cocktail after....(and it may only have been Sunday around 10:30, is that bad?)

To the window.....to the wall.

Why is it that we can never figure out what to do with our walls?  It's always so intimidating to stare at a big blank wall and try to fill it with artwork, mirrors, pictures, etc. Then half the time you end up putting up something, taking it down, returning your item back to the store......rewind, repeat, sigh in frustration.  All you've got now is a wall full of nail holes, not very pretty.

Luckily stenciling is back.  Don't worry, I'm not referring to the ugly stencil borders you are thinking of from 1986, now there are so many beautiful stencils out there to give your boring walls a face-lift.

Janell from Isabella and Max Rooms created this amazing stenciled focal wall. To see her step by step instructions, click here, isn't it beautiful? I love the turqouise lamp against the gray wall, such a great pop of color.

Shelly from the House of Smith's did something a little bit different and used this quatrefoil stencil in her pantry.

Here is a fun wallpaper print that Irene from Design Stiles put in her hallway.

I may steal this idea from her.

The possibilites are endless...

Chevron Business cards for me = happy chick.

Why is it the older you get the smallest things in life excite you, like when your kitchen counter tops are spotless, or when the delicious smell of bleach is lingering in your house after a good cleaning?

I really need to get a life.

Today is an exciting day for me, I just ordered these amazing Chevron Business Cards.  I found them on Jen Ramos's Made By Girl blog.  I follow way too many a lot of blogs, and she is by far one of my favorites. Be sure to check her out!

Don't you likey??

I'll be sure to pass these out to every person on the street.

Jen also has an online store with a ton of other products, custom kids art work, posters and prints, canvases, and she occasionally sells stuff from her closet!

This is one of my favorite prints of hers. Pretty much sums up my mornings.

You can find this canvas along with her shop here. Check her out!

I'll be sitting by the mailbox waiting patiently for my present to arrive.....
